Towers Street's 1st Birthday look

As it was Towers Streets first birthday this week on the 11th I have decided to to do a look based on the sites colours which are purple and gold and to make this look theme park proof by using long wearing products so you can wear it on park to show your support.

To create this look I used two Maybelline Color Tattoos to start with Eternal Gold on the Lid and Endless Purple in the crease to prolong and make the eye shadow themepark proof. I used my clean sanitised fingers to apply it.

After this I then took Oz from the Glinda Wizard of Oz Palette by Urban Decay and firmly pressed this onto the Eternal Gold Colour Tattoo to reduce the fall out issue this colour has. I then took Parfait Amore by Mac on a crease blending brush and blended this over the Endless Purple Color Tattoo base. To add definition towards the outer v of my crease I then used Mac's Fig and brought it down onto my lower lash line.

I then used Urban Decay's 24/7 eyeliner pencil in Ransom which is a lovely purple to line my upper lash line and then used Max Factor's False Lash Effect Fusion mascara in black.

I then did my usual foundation, concealer and powder routine. Then for my cheeks I used Mac's Rhapsody in Two Mineralise Blush which gives the cheeks a nice glow.

Then on my lips for the extreme version I used a lip brush and applied Mac's Mattene Lipstick in Potent Fig around the edges and then used Mac's Violetta lipstick in the centre to make my lips look fuller. However if you want a easier to wear look you can use a nude gloss, I used Devilishly Stylish from Mac.

Hope you enjoy wearing this look, and show me you results on Instagram or Twitter at ExpensivePink90!

Thank you for reading and I hope to see you back here soon,

Natalie.

The Smiler!!!!!

Here is my look based on The Smiler at Alton Towers, which you can recreate for when it opens. I will be there on Sunday the 2nd of June in this makeup so see if you can spot me! Today I will be taking you through step by step how to recreate this look.
1. Make sure your skin is clean and moisturised ready to put your normal foundation and concealer routine on later.
2. Put a eye primer all over the eyelid and under the eye slightly, we don't want this moving anywhere!
3. Place a bright yellow eyeshadow on the lid stopping at the crease, I used colour 370 by Inglot.

4. I then took Black Ink by Bobbi Brown and a fine eyeliner and created a dramatic elongated wing.

5. To add dimension to the eye I then took a lime green and blended this into the crease and along the top of the wing, I used 343 by Inglot.

6. Then put your mascara on, if you are planning to wear this to a theme park I suggest wearing a waterproof one!
7. After that clean up under your eyes if you have any fallout of the powder eyeshadow and/or mascara smudges.
8. This is now the time you would do your usual foundation routine, being careful not to disturb your eye makeup.
9. Now take a white eyeliner and trace from the the lower inner corner of the eye to the point where the wing of the black eyeliner ends keeping the white line under the black at all times, I used Fascinating by MAC.
10. Now use a black eyeliner to line and fill in your lips, I like to use Urban Decays 24/7 liner in Perversion as it's really long lasting and really black.

11. Then take a black lipstick I used Black Knight by MAC but this was limited edition, you could use Stiletto by Lime Crime or Tarred by Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics.

12. Then to finish the look off take a natural flush to dolly pink blush and really smile until your apples of your cheeks really pop and just apply the blush here, I used Naked Rose by Illamasqua.

I would love to see some of my readers wear this look, so if you do try it do send me a tweet with your photo to ExpensivePink90 on twitter! And remember Smile ALWAYS!

Duel look!

This weeks look is based on Duel logo with the dark blue background, the red target and the green to yellow graduated text. I did the eyes first incase I had any fallout onto my cheeks, I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance as my primer I then used Inglot colour 370 which is the yellow on the inner corner, Inglot colour 385 on the outer corner and then Inglot  colour 343 to blend them together. Then for the blue in the logo I used Inglot colour 336 in the crease and raised up onto the brow bone slightly. I then put Urban Decay's Perversion eyeliner which is a true black eyeliner on the upper lash line and onto my bottom waterline. I then used Inglot's 336, 385 and 370 working from the outside in on my lower lash line. After this I put on some mascara and some false lashes to enhance the look and make it more dramatic.

Then I moved onto the face where I did my usual foundation and concealer routine and added blush in Plum by Bobbi Brown. Then finally I moved onto my lips where I used a lip pencil by MAC called Cherry and then used a Extra Volume Lipgloss by Kiko Cosmetics in number 17.

I hope you all like this look and I can reveal that my look next week will be based on the Smiler!

Moon Voyager room look!

Sorry it's a bit late this week. It's a gold/bronze eyelid with a purple crease with a moon and a star then the face is quite natural with a bronze/gold lip. The products I used are Revlons Colorstay foundation, with the powder and concealer for the base with MACs alpha girl on the cheeks with bronzer to contour the cheeks. Then for eyes I used Retrospeck by mac on the inner corner the gold side of the spell eyeshadow from Urban Decay's Theodora pallet then MACs Fig 1 eyeshadow in the crease with a bit of Beauty Marked to deepen it up then I drew the star and moon in Spell again then Macs Designer Purple Pearlglide eyeliner and mascara. Then last but not least is the lipstick in Thrills by MAC. I hope you like it!

Rita look

Sorry it's been a while guys I've just been really busy and not had the motivation to do this, but I have found it within me tonight. Todays look is based on Rita with two different looks both retro based (which is my favourite look as you instantly look polished!) but with green for the section of track that is visible above the trees either below or above my eye with the red lips that represent the track.

Non food treat!

I am back on weight watchers so to treat myself for reaching goals or overcoming hurdles I buy myself a non-food treat as recommended by weight watchers. This month I've bought both the Oz pallets by Urban Decay one with a gift card from Christmas and my Debenhams Beauty points and then the other as my non good treat. Will be swatching and playing with them tonight after going swimming.
