Drugstore lippie haul!

Over the last couple of trips to my local Boots I picked up a few lip products that I've been waiting for them to finally arrive on our shelves from the USA or that I've heard good reviews of and want to try.

I picked up 3 of the Maybelline Colorsensational Elixir's in the shades 705 Blush Essance, 120 Fushia Flourish and 505 Signature Scarlet. They feel lovely on the lips but still deliver an intense hit of colour and are apparently dupes for the Dior Addict Fluide sticks which are £26, however these are only £6.99 each and are currently on a 3 for 2 at both Boots and Superdrug!

I've also picked up a few lip products from Bourjois on positive reviews off Letzmakeup and Vivianna does makeup. I've picked up 2 of the Rouge Velvet Editions in Grand Cru and Frambourjois and a Edition Shine lipstick in number 20 1,2,3 Soleil.

The Roughe Edition's even though they are matte once they have dried down do not feel drying compared to most other matte lip products I have used in the past, plus they are long lasting and come in a nice selection of colours although a nice deep purple for the autumn/winter wouldn't go amiss and they have a slight plastic smell that isn't noticeable once applied and allowed to set. Frambourjois is a raspberry pink colour and Grand Cru is a deep sultry red perfect for winter. They are currently £8.99 at Boots and Superdrug and on offer at Superdrug on 3 for 2 or two products for £14 at Boots.

The Shine Edition lipstick has a sweet scent to it that's almost Parma Violet and it it a gorgeous summery coral colour. Again it feels lovely and moisturising on the lips like the Maybelline Elixr's but because it is a glossy formula it slides around more and isn't as long lasting as the Rpuge Edition Velvets but is more comfortable to wear. They are currently £7.99 at Boots and Superdrug and on offer currently on 3 for 2 at Superdrug or 2 products for £14 at Boots.

Thank you for taking the time to read,
